Report Details Immigrant’s Contribution to U.S. Economy

Washington (June 20)—The White House Council of Economic Advisers issued a white paper on the economic impact of immigration. Council Chairman Edward P. Lazear commented that “Our review of economic research finds immigrants not only help fuel the Nation’s economic growth, but also have an overall positive effect on the income of native-born workers.” (White Paper)
