Secretary Gutierrez Talks Economic Growth, Immigration Reform with Green Industry
Washington (July 25)—At the biannual legislative conference of the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA), Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez highlighted the strength of our nation’s economy and the industry’s contribution to our economic growth. He also touched on the need for comprehensive immigration reform to continue that growth, cautioning against the patchwork of immigration laws that are cropping up nationwide in the absence of reform at the federal level.
