At Foreign Press Center, Gutierrez Previews Trip to Latin America to Promote Trade Agreements

Washington (Sept. 12)—Prior to departing for Panama, Peru and Colombia with a delegation of Members of Congress, Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez addressed the media at the Foreign Press Center to discuss the importance of passing pending Free Trade Agreements with the three countries. In Latin America, the delegation will visit with business, labor and civil society officials to discuss the role these agreements could play in promoting positive social change and economic growth.
