In Brazil, Gutierrez Urges Movement on Doha Round to Further Open Global Markets and Spur New Trade Flows
Sao Paulo, Brazil (Oct. 10)—In a speech to the American Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo, Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez discussed the strong economic and social ties between the U.S. and Brazil, and the need for further cooperation, particularly in the Doha round of WTO talks, to further grow global trade and commerce. Gutierrez was in Brazil to launch the inaugural meetings of the U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum. (Remarks)
