Gutierrez in Czech Republic to Highlight Economic Ties and Shared Love of Freedom, Democracy

Prague, Czech Republic (June 3)—U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez and U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Richard W. Graber, are pictured in Prague. The Secretary is in the Czech Republic to acknowledge the country’s commitment to democracy and forge stronger political and economic ties. Gutierrez authored an opinion editorial that ran in E15, a Czech business daily in which he wrote, “Through stronger ties, both political and economic, the United States and the Czech Republic will continue to work toward a freer, more prosperous future.” (Opinion Editorial)
