The White House launched a new Innovations in Effective Compassion Website to detail the results and outcomes of the Faith-Based and Community Initiative (FBCI). The FBCI signifies a shift in how government partners with faith-based and community organizations to address human needs. It also demonstrates the value of public and private entities joining together for the common good. Since 2001, the FBCI has focused on expanding innovative government partnerships with nonprofit sector partners and engaging private sector co-investors.

The White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is hosting a series of regional conferences in partnerships with states across the country on President Bush's Initiative. These events are designed to connect effective social service organizations with resources that can strengthen and expand the services they offer to the people they serve. The conferences are free but pre-registration is required. Included below is a schedule of upcoming White House OFBCI conferences.
Visit the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Website to learn more information about these conferences and other OFBCI events.
